Comedian Brittany Furlan has publicly addressed rumors surrounding her marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and revealed that she was the victim of an online impersonation.
In a video shared on TikTok over the weekend, Furlan stated she was catfished by an individual posing as Ronnie Radke, lead vocalist of the band Falling in Reverse. Her comments came shortly after reports surfaced, including from TMZ, that she and Lee, 62, had been living separately.
Furlan, 38, claimed the impersonator engaged in flirtatious behavior, which she initially believed was coming from Radke himself. She admitted she did not save the messages, explaining she was in an emotionally vulnerable state and did not want to behave inappropriately. She has since insisted the real Radke has exacerbated the situation by publicly addressing the matter, following accusations from Lee that Radke had an inappropriate relationship with her.
Radke, 41, has denied any involvement in the messaging and stated that he only addressed the issue after Lee allegedly confronted him. In a series of social media posts, Radke maintained that Furlan was deceived by a third party pretending to be him and that legal counsel had been engaged due to ongoing harassment claims.
During her TikTok post, Furlan acknowledged difficulties in her marriage and clarified that she disclosed the situation to her husband. According to Furlan, Lee became upset and reached out to Radke, prompting the public fallout. “I told my husband everything,” she said, “I believed I was speaking to someone else. It turns out it wasn’t him.”
Furlan also shared what she claimed were direct messages with Radke, asking him to stop contacting her and accusing him of harassment. “I’ve been going through a lot, and this has made everything worse,” she added, expressing frustration over the ongoing attention.
Lee appeared to reference the controversy in a May 16 Instagram post with the caption, “Who’s been catfished?”
In her video, Furlan urged Radke to cease discussing the matter publicly and to respect her privacy. The video was captioned, “I’ve had enough. He’s been harassing me for two weeks. He’s been sent three cease and desist letters and has not complied. For the final time – Leave me alone, Ronnie.”
Radke, in response, reiterated that he was not involved and expressed dismay over being implicated. “I’m not the catfish,” he stated in a video, “and I’m not obsessed with her.” He added that he was simply trying to clear his name after being falsely accused.
Legal representatives for all parties have reportedly been involved, though no formal statements have been released at this time. Fox News Digital has reached out to Lee, Furlan, and Radke for comment.
Despite reports that the couple has separated, sources indicate that Lee and Furlan remain in communication. Previous reports have suggested that their relationship had been strained, in part due to alleged issues related to Lee’s drinking.
